7K a year 9 days ago 9 days ago 9 days ago This position will be responsible for the daily cleaning/sanitation of a Processing Plant, all applicable machinery and surrounding breakroom(s).
Essential Job Functions Thoroughly cleaning and /or sanitizing of all Processing Plant machines and equipment is complete each day.
Perform general housekeeping of the entire plant each day to include but not limited to washing walls, washing floors, emptying trash, etc.
Safe mixing and use of cleaning solutions to remove stains, clean and disinfect surfaces.
Always use appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required when using cleaning products.
Assure all equipment and machinery is prepared for next day on time start-up.
Maintain all breakroom areas in a clean and sanitary manner.
Including but not limited to; sweep and mop floors, clean and scrub sink, all table surfaces and counter areas, clean refrigerators as needed, Work safely utilizing all PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) as required.
Report to Lead or Processing Manager immediately any safety concerns as well as any general concerns regarding overall Plant maintenance.
Other job related duties as required.
Qualifications High School Diploma preferred, however not required.
Working Knowledge of general cleaning techniques Fluent in English and Spanish preferred Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to a minimum of 35lbs.
Position requires lifting, pushing, pulling, squatting, twisting, turning, kneeling and bending.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
